1.Brief introduction

Pattern glass is a decorative translucent flat glass with embossed patterns on one or both surfaces, produced through a roll-out process. It is commonly used for building windows, doors, and furniture. It is glass product made by pressing patterned rollers during the cooling process of sintered glass. It can be divided into two type: colorless and colored.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      

Pattern glass is manufactured by pressing patterns onto the glass surface using a roller engraved with a design. This process creates embossed patterns on the glass, giving it a unique texture.

It is primarily used for architectural applications such as windows, doors, and building facades, as well as furniture decoration. The patterns enhance the visual appeal of these surfaces without compromising functionality.

4. Calender 

The body of calender consist of two rollers and secondary roller on top and bottom, which is the key equipment for pattern glass production line forming. It forms a set of pattern forming system with transition roller table. Calender and transmission roller table are installed together between glass furnace and annealing lehr in the pattern glass production line. 

The glass liquid flows from the overflow port of the melting furnace through the lip brick into the space between the upper and lower rollers. The melted glass is hydraulically stretched by the upper and lower rollers into a flat glass with a fixed shape, a certain thickness, and a specific pattern on the surface. The formed glass strip is transported into the annealing furnace through the auxiliary roller and transition roller platform for annealing.

Pattern glass is divided into four series of ordinary white pattern glass, ultra-white pattern glass, intermediate wire glass and borosilicate glass.
